Hire Up Staffing Services is looking for a Workers Comp Specialist on a direct hire basis opportunity with manufacturing company in the Fowler, CA area.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
– 5+ years experience managing workers compensation claims on a large scale, in a company with a minimum of 500+ employees
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Manage and facilitate medical treatment for injured workers in conjunction with workers compensation and OSHA’s systems and requirements
– Manage the workers compensation program
– Ensure that workers compensation carriers have accurate data in regards to injuries, lost time cases and the current work status of injured employees
– Work very closely with workers compensation carrier to bring closure to open claims
– Review monthly workers compensation cost reports and communicate relevant information to Senior Management
– Manage Return to Work/Modified Duty program
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
– Bachelors Degree preferred
– Five (5) years of workers compensation experience
– Demonstrated experience in the methods, standards and practices of first aid
– Strong knowledge of workers compensation programs and requirements
– Understand basic knowledge of safety programs and requirements
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
