Accounting Assistant Needed in Fresno Hire Up Staffing Services is partnering with a well established accounting firm to find a professional Accounting Assistant to join their team. This Accounting Firm has been in business for over 30 years and is locally rooted in the Central Valley. Their average tenure as a company is about 10+ years and they love to promote from within. Some of the fantastic benefits at this Accounting Firm are; 2 weeks paid vacation, community involvement, and medical/dental/vision insurance availability. Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business, or an equivalent major is preferred. This candidate should have 4+ years of experience will full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for processing at least 100+ invoices. Software skills that are necessary to be successful in this position include experience with Excel, QuickBooks, Peach Tree, Sage, and MAS90. Our client desires a candidate with a stable work history, and a drive to learn new practices and procedures. The Accounting Assistant is a temp-to-hire position and has a pay rate of $16-$18/hr. depending on experience. Work hours are from 7:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri.
