HR Generalist/Payroll Coordinator needed for a manufacturing company in the Visalia area.  This individual handles a variety of duties including payroll processing, HR compliance, benefits administration, event coordination and general administrative support.
·Processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll; reviewing timecards and getting necessary approvals; setup and maintain wage garnishments, tax liens and support orders in the payroll system; distribute management payroll summary reports; send payroll tax issues to payroll provider and follow up for resolution; transmit payroll information to 401(k) vendor in a timely manner.
·Process benefit enrollment changes for all company entities; complete EDD benefit audits; provide quarterly employee premium contribution information to insurance broker; send EOB’s and claim forms to TPA on behalf of employees.
·  Setup new employee files; run E-Verify on new hires; process final checks and prepare termination paperwork; submit tax credit vouchering information to appropriate agency; manage HR department files; maintain required notices, information and enrollment booklets for the HR office.
·Assist with coordination of company events as needed.
·4+ years of Human Resource experience.
·Current knowledge of federal and state labor laws to ensure compliance.
·Proficiency in MS Office programs; experience with ADP payroll systems preferred, but not required.
This direct hire position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to take the next step in their career. Salary range is $40-50k, depending on experience.
