City of Austin Career Fair (April 2):
Cathy and Rebecca represented Hire Up at the City of Austin Career Fair. This annual event, hosted by the City of Austin, aims to build a stronger community by connecting local employers with job seekers to fill critical vacancies. Cathy and Rebecca connected with job seekers and shared insights about career opportunities within our organization.

Tulare Kings SHRM Monthly Luncheon (April 8):
Sara attended the Tulare Kings SHRM Monthly Luncheon, engaging with HR professionals and discussing the latest trends and challenges in human resources. This luncheon is part of SHRM Tulare Kings County’s efforts to provide valuable networking opportunities and professional development for HR practitioners in the region.
Austin SHRM: Human Integration in an AI World (April 9):
Cathy participated in the Austin SHRM event focused on “Human Integration in an AI World.” This session emphasized the importance of human connection in a world increasingly dominated by AI and automation. Cathy contributed to discussions on how AI is transforming the workplace and the importance of human-centric approaches in this evolving landscape.

Texas Health Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon (April 9):
Rebecca attended the Texas Health Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon, supporting breast cancer awareness and fundraising efforts. This event, hosted by Texas Health Resources Foundation, raises funds to provide no-cost mobile health screenings and essential outreach to underserved women in North Texas.

Founders Club Poker Night (April 11):
Rebecca joined the Founders Club Poker Night, networking with entrepreneurs and enjoying a fun evening of poker. This exclusive event brings together top founders for an evening of competition, conversation, and connection.

Central California SHRM Luncheon (April 17):
Monica and Rebecca attended the Central California SHRM Luncheon, engaging with HR professionals and discussing key topics in human resources. The Central California Society for Human Resource Management (CCSHRM) serves HR professionals in California’s Central Valley, providing a forum for exchanging information about trends and ideas in HR management.

Ocean Springs Business After Hours (April 24):
Kali attended the Ocean Springs Business After Hours, a monthly networking event hosted by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce. This event provides a platform for local business professionals to connect, share ideas, and promote their businesses in a relaxed, social setting.
Dumont Printing 75th Anniversary (April 30):
Monica celebrated Dumont Printing’s 75th Anniversary, recognizing the company’s long-standing contributions to the printing industry. Dumont Printing has been a trusted provider of printing services in Fresno, CA, for over seven decades, offering a wide range of services from offset and digital printing to promotional products and mailing services.

Cowtown Ball Derby Party (May 3):
Rebecca attended the Cowtown Ball Derby Party, enjoying the festivities and supporting local charities. This event, part of the Cowtown Ball, raises funds for the American Cancer Society and features horse races, mint juleps, fancy hats, and best-dressed contests.
