All of us at Hire Up are enjoying the 12 Days of Giving so far. It is a great way to give back, while at the same time helping people in our network support charities that they are passionate about. Today we would like to highlight Robert Jensen & Associates, a property management firm in the Central Valley. They are going above and beyond by hosting 2 different drives at Tollhouse Crossing, a complex that they manage.
The first drive they are hosting is to support the Community Food Bank. Now through December 11th, you can drop off any non-perishable food donations including:
Canned Items: Meat, chili, soup, tuna, vegetables, and fruits
Packaged Items: Peanut butter, low-sugar cereals, boxed fruit juices, etc.
These donations will be accepted now through December 11th, Monday – Friday, from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Tollhouse Crossing office, 102 North Fowler Clovis, California 93611
The second drive they are hosting supports The Salvation Army, Coats For The Community drive. Now through Debember 18th, at the same location you can drop off coats, hoodies, zip-ups, & pullovers. These items can be any size, for men, women, and kids, and should be new, gently used, or used.
Our team took a field trip and dropped off the warmest kids coats we could find, as well as enough food to feed a family. For people in need, really any donation helps. Here is a photo of our team today:
Both of these drives will help many families and individuals in need. Clean out your closets and pantries and or make a stop at Target to the gift of a full belly and a warm coat this year!
