Day 6 of Hire Up Staffing’s 12 Days of Giving – Bright Horizon Hospice

We are half way through the 12 Days of Giving and are extremely excited to share this charity with you. Bright Horizon Hospice offers medical care toward a different goal: maintaining or improving quality of life for someone whose illness, disease or condition is unlikely to be cured. Each patient’s individualized care plan is updated as needed to address the physical, emotional and spiritual pain that often accompanies terminal illness. Hospice care also offers practical support for the caregiver(s) during the illness and grief support after the death. Hospice is something more that is available to the patient and the entire family when curative measures have been exhausted.

This Holiday season, Bright Horizon Hospice needs your help! All donations are kindly accepted.

The mission of Bright Horizon Hospice Foundation (BHHF) is to provide: support, food, shelter and companionship for Hospice patients and their family caregivers through their end-of-life journey.
The Natalie’s Fund was created to provide financial support for our patients and family caregivers through the following programs and services at Bright Horizon Hospice:

• Shelter (PG&E, Rent Hardship)
• Food (care giver meals and nutritional supplements for the patients, Ensure)
• Clothing, Bedding and Patient Care items not covered by Medicare
• Bereavement Services (Pastoral Care and visits, Counseling and Cremation)
