You’re invited to our Back-to-School Drive Luncheon and Free Seminar again this year. Since we started holding this event, our turnout has nearly doubled each year! The rise in attendance helps us reach our donation goals for our Back-to-School drive, so thank you in advance for attending. For all of our new clients, this is a must attend event! We provide an educational seminar and lunch to our clients for any donation of of school supplies. Your donations go towards helping underprivileged kids become confident & successful in the new school year.
The 2015 Back-to-School Drive Luncheon will focus on teaching our clients all about State Mandated Paid Sick Leave. This has been a confusing topic for some and Hire Up loves to help where we can. Our presenter Korinna Pedrosa, PHR-CA, Sierra HR Partners will discuss PTO and how if you already offer it, it doesn’t necessarily make your company exempt. In addition, there are tons of new laws about displaying available time off on pay-stubs, posters, notifications and more! Make sure that your business is in compliance and meeting all the requirements before you’re penalized.
This years event will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 from 12:00-2:00pm. Registration is at 11:30, so be sure to show on time. The seminar and lunch are free with a donation of $20 worth of school supplies. You get to choose between 3 delicious menu items featured in the image above.
