Hire Up at Large: Connecting With Our Community This October

At Hire Up Staffing, some of our favorite work happens outside the office! Getting out into the community gives us the opportunity to build relationships, meet fellow business professionals, support local organizations, and stay connected to the people and businesses we serve. October was full of opportunities to do just that, with our team attending networking events, connecting with local professionals, and celebrating businesses throughout the Central Valley.

From coffee meetups to ribbon cuttings and community luncheons, here is a look at where Hire Up has been this month.

CCSHRM Coffee and Connect

We kicked off our October community connections with Gabriela and Eileen attending the Central California Society for Human Resource Management (CCSHRM) Coffee and Connect. The event provided an opportunity to meet fellow HR professionals, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships with others working throughout the region.

It was also Eileen’s first event out of the office in her new role with Hire Up! We are excited to see her continue growing her professional network, building connections, and becoming more involved in the local business community.

A Fun Day of Networking and Client Drops

On October 14, Yuliya and Eileen started their day at a Fresno Women’s Chamber of Commerce breakfast networking event before heading out for client drops. The morning offered a great opportunity to connect with local businesswomen, strengthen professional relationships, and spend time engaging with businesses throughout the area.

We love days that combine networking with getting out to meet the people we work with. Building relationships face-to-face is an important part of what we do, and our team enjoys finding new ways to stay connected with the businesses that make our community thrive.

Celebrating Fresno Mazda’s Ribbon Cutting

On October 15, Robert and Yuliya attended the ribbon-cutting celebration at Fresno Mazda! Ribbon cuttings are a wonderful way to recognize local businesses, celebrate milestones, and show support for the organizations that contribute to our community.

Connecting at the Central California SHRM Member Meetup

On October 22, Gabriela and Eileen attended the monthly Central California SHRM member meetup. The gathering brought together business professionals from across the Central Valley, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build valuable connections within the local HR community.

Events like these are especially meaningful to us because our work is closely connected to the people who recruit, manage, and develop teams. Staying engaged with HR professionals helps us continue learning about the needs of local employers while strengthening relationships with the people who help shape the region’s workforce.

Fresno Women’s Chamber of Commerce Luncheon

To round out another busy month of community engagement, Eileen and Yuliya attended the Fresno Women’s Chamber of Commerce luncheon on October 27. The event offered another opportunity to connect with local professionals, support the Chamber’s work, and build relationships with people who are passionate about growing businesses throughout Fresno.

We love seeing our team take advantage of these opportunities to learn from others and represent Hire Up in the community. Every conversation helps us strengthen our network and continue building relationships that support our mission of connecting great people with great opportunities.

What We’re Looking Forward to Next Month

October was full of meaningful connections, and we are already looking forward to what November has in store! Our team has multiple events on the calendar across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and the Central Valley, giving us even more opportunities to connect with businesses and professionals in the communities we serve.

As local organizations begin updating their calendars and planning for the year ahead, we are excited to participate in as many events as possible. From networking meetups and community celebrations to professional development opportunities, we look forward to showing up, building relationships, and finding new ways to support our local business communities.

At Hire Up Staffing, community involvement is an important part of who we are. We are grateful for every opportunity to get out of the office, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and learn more about the communities that make our work meaningful.

Here’s to another month of great conversations, growing connections, and getting Hire Up out into the community!
