We’re excited to welcome Emperatriz to the Hire Up Staffing team as our newest Recruiting Manager! She joined us on September 1 and brings a strong background in recruiting, scheduling, and relationship-building to the team.

Before joining Hire Up, Emperatriz worked in recruiting for a mental and behavioral health company in Fresno. Prior to that, she served as a Regional Scheduling Manager in elderly care. Her experience has given her a strong foundation in working with people, staying organized, and helping connect individuals with the right opportunities.

One of her goals at Hire Up is to continue strengthening her recruiting skills, build strong relationships with candidates, and eventually take on even more leadership responsibility. She’s excited to continue learning, growing, and making a positive impact along the way.

Outside of work, Emperatriz loves spending time with family, hosting game nights and BBQs, and traveling with her significant other. She’s also a big fan of crime TV, all kinds of music, Disney, flowers, and, of course, cheesecake!

A few more things to know: her favorite color is hot pink, she’s a Las Vegas Raiders and LA Dodgers fan, and her go-to pick-me-ups include a Dutch Bros Hawaiian Rebel, a caramel macchiato with extra caramel, or a Sugar Free Red Bull. If she won an all-expenses-paid trip, she’d be heading to Hawaii or somewhere in Mexico with her family.

When asked about the best advice she’s received, she shared a simple reminder that says a lot about her outlook:

“It’s a bad day, not a bad life. Never give up!”
