At Hire Up, we take pride not only in our professional achievements but also in our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. Our core value of being “Good with Humankind” is ingrained in everything we do, driving us to give back and support those around us.
Making a Difference, One Act of Kindness at a Time
Lexx, Using Her Compassion to Feed the Community
Lexx goes above and beyond her role, spreading joy in DFW, TX through her baking. Her delicious cakes, made with love and skill, are donated to local churches, delighting many and fostering community bonding and unity.
Emily, Dedicated Community Coordinator
Emily exemplifies our core value by actively volunteering at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Her commitment to this iconic event supports its profound impact on the local community. Since its inception in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has made a remarkable $600 million impact on Texas youth, nurturing future leaders through scholarships and educational opportunities.
Cathy, Heart for Those Who Serve
Cathy worked for the Air Force and Army MWR Services, supporting troops overseas. She’s passionate about helping people who have served our country. Anytime there are military conferences in the area, Cathy sets up a booth to network and help our veterans find new careers or access resources to improve their lives, thanking them for all that they have done to support our country.
Carrie, Passionate Advocate for Equality
Carrie, our VP of Operations, stands out as a passionate advocate for equality. Recently, Carrie proudly marched alongside members of the LGBTQ+ community in the Sacramento Pride March. Her visible support and unwavering advocacy uplifted spirits and reinforced Hire Up’s dedication to diversity, inclusivity, and equal rights for all.
Leah, HR Hometown Hero
Leah, our VP of Client Relations, has been heavily involved in the Central Valley SHRM organization for decades. She supports educational events for HR professionals and promotes fundraisers for their scholarship program, which donates to worthy students pursuing careers in HR. Leah loves giving back to her HR network.
Rebecca, Fearless Leader and President
Rebecca has led Hire Up’s internal passion for helping others since founding the company. She has not only volunteered and provided pivotal financial support for several fundraisers but also started new philanthropy groups in both California and Texas. As a key member of The Founders Club in Fresno, CA, she raises money for a community-oriented neuroscience center and is now involved in the American Cancer Society’s Cowtown Ball in Fort Worth, TX.
Embracing Our Core Values Every Day
Culture isn’t something that just happens; it’s a commitment to cultivating happiness in ourselves and our teammates every day. We invest in our people to give them meaningful careers by fostering an environment that allows them to be and do their best. When our people are happy, our clients are happy, which makes everything we do even better.
These inspiring acts by Lexx, Emily, Cathy, Carrie, Leah, Rebecca, and numerous others at Hire Up reflect our collective commitment to being “Good with Humankind.” Whether through hands-on volunteering, passionate advocacy, or simple acts of kindness, each action underscores our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and within our communities.
